They give very useful advice and try their hardest to make things work for you - case in point, I hired a 1.7t excavator yesterday on short notice, they made sure one was available and taught me how to operate it. I hire from Vermont Hire all the time and am forever singing their praises. Over the years I tried Kennards Hire and Hire-It but the level of service and state of the equipment from each of these places pales into insignificance compared with Vermont Hire's. The staff are outstanding, very friendly, very patient, very knowledgeable and are very keen to ensure you are hiring the right piece of equipment for the job you need. The equipment works first time, every time, they are contactable if you have problems when using it and they show you how it works, what to do and what not to do before they set you free with it. They are now my one and only hire shop and I often ask them for their advice before I even start one of my many DIY projects.
