How to Hire

Reservations

We recommend booking equipment a couple of days in advance by calling 9874 8444

  • if you’re picking the equipment up yourself, we’ll just need your name and phone number for the reservation – no payment is required
  • if we’re delivering the equipment to you, we’ll need your driver’s license details, phone number, email address, delivery/pick-up address and payment.

Equipment Onhire

  • If you’re picking up the equipment in-store, we’ll need to see your driver’s license, record/confirm your phone number and email address and take payment for the hire and deposit on a credit or debit card.
  • If we’re delivering the equipment to you, we’ve already taken payment, but will need to sight your driver’s license on arrival.
  • For both in-store pickups and deliveries, we’ll demonstrate that the equipment is in good working condition and provide any operating instructions or demonstrations. We’ll ask you to sign the hire schedule, email you your copy and the equipment is yours to use!

Equipment Offhire and Return

  • For deliveries/pick-ups, the equipment remains on hire to you until you call us and obtain an off-hire number, at which point the hire charges stop and we arrange a time to pick the equipment up.
  • For in-store pick-ups, the hire charges stop when you return the equipment with all attachments.
  • We check for equipment damage before returning the deposit and any 4 hour discount. If you’ve had the equipment for longer than it was paid for, we use the deposit to offset the outstanding amount and refund the remaining deposit or take further payment as required. We then email you your tax invoice.
  • If you hired large equipment, sanding equipment or equipment with diamond blades: before refunding the deposit we also check that the hours or diamond wear are within the free amount included in the hire, and record what diesel and sandpaper has been used, using the deposit to offset any such charges before refunding the remaining deposit.
  • 5% from each hire accrues as loyalty rewards, reducing the price of your next hire within 6 months. All we need is an email address to send your hire schedules and tax invoices to and you’re automatically accruing rewards!
